What a bonus to my day yesterday, one of FSO’s very first - TopicsExpress

What a bonus to my day yesterday, one of FSO’s very first recipients and a true member of the FSO Family, Andrew Snow invited me to attend a private ceremony of him receiving his PURPLE HEART! I was so honored to be considered a close friend of the family to witness and join him, his parents and his two roommates on such a special day! Of course, many Veterans at the VA in Sunrise witnessed this beautiful ceremony. He was the only recipient today, and the ceremony was truly ALL about Sgt Andrew Snow, who served in Iraq on 2 tours (2004, 2006), he unfortunately was injured on 11/13/2006 and is 100% disabled! He is a beautiful young man, with the heart of gold! His family are like my extended family, his mom is a school teacher, and Art is the Tennis Director of a country club in Boca Raton and also serves as Treasurer of FSO’s Board of Directors. Tears couldn’t help but flow from my eyes, as he received this true honor, this was not only overdue, but truly deserved! I praise God that I was a part of this special day, and I salute Sgt Andrew Snow and his family! May God Bless Andrew Always, and thank you Andrew for your service and sacrifice you have made for me, my son, my family and our country!!! Yesterday was a day I will never forget!
