What a busy couple days. Thursday I had the basement repaired. They used a glue that really bothered me. I got hoarse within a couple hours. By Friday morning, my throat hurt, my eyes burned, my mouth burned and I could barely talk. Went to Hastings to help with the Eagles state pool tournament. Spend about 11 hours helping to register pool players and guests. This morning I spent a couple more hours helping register more players. Then went to Kearney for a state bowling meeting. Back to Hastings to walk through the pool tournament. Then met a friend at the Hastings Eagles for a drink. And now I am home. Oh, almost forgot. I met a nice guy yesterday. Within minutes he ask me to marry him. And he said he would buy me a new red corvette. He even said he wanted a fall wedding so he thought September might be a good month. Such a smooth talker he was.
