What a cool day!!! Went on a hike through rugged trails by the Lake Worth dam!! I wanted some Starbucks coffee, but didnt have a chance to have some until close to 5, and hung out there doing research!!! And into the evening met two Zaire students!!! It brought back memories of when Nzuzi lived with us in Prince Albert for two years! Of course, the country is now called the Democratic Republic of Congo. We began talking about blood diamonds. I told them it was a ploy for Switzerland to keep control of the diamond market! They were amazed that I knew that. Then some White Supremacist dude, budded into our conversation & started talking about Ireland, shamrocks, St. Patrick & a bunch of other crap!! He was just talking down to them & I just had to hold my tongue! Those two guys were very educated and spiritual, but the dude? He could only talk about religion & saw nothing wrong that all the Treaties were broken with Native Americans!!! I just sat there in disbelief that to this day there are people that think they are superior because they have white skin!! It made me thankful that I was raised to be friends with all people and to look at them as equal.
