What a day! :) A definite turning point for Ireland. 80-100 thousand people took to the streets on a cold and wintry Wednesday. It was bigger and more beautiful than I think anyone could have anticipated. The worm has turned. The Irish are awakening. But this is not over. We have further to rise and the government and Irish Water have much further to fall. The next march is national and its on the 31st of January I believe, and then the boycott of Irish Water billing begins. Revolutionary times ahead. The experience of sharing my poem with a risen Ireland is one I will never forget. Gratitude and love to all who were there, in spirit or otherwise and to all who helped make this happen.
