What a day! I spent some time in Silver Creek and spoke with several people. Many of which advised they had already sent in their ballots. They smiled and shook my hand and said they were proud to have voted for me. I placed several signs and hung large banner signs again at new locations throughout the county. This has been a very enlightening experience. Many people now know some of what has been occurring these last four years in the Merrick County Sheriffs Office. I did a interview at the Central City Republican-Nonpareil today. The paper wants to interview myself and the sheriff. When I spoke to the paper in person, the sheriff hadnt shown yet and texted he would try and find a time that will work. Ill be glad to read this paper with Sheriff Campbells interview along side mine. To the many people who have commented on some of my posts... thank you. I love the interaction. That means people are talking. Many things that I post do seem trivial however, one has to look at the totality of everything. I respect everyones opinion and I know I wont change the minds of everyone but, Im offering a choice. You have to ask yourself why is it three people ran against Kevin Campbell in the primary race. Why am I going to all the effort and expense to run as a write-in. Obviously there is a problem. In law enforcement, when things like these red flags (and there are a lot of them) emerge, we call that a clue. Again thank you for everyone that has commented. Weather you support the current sheriff or you support me, just the fact that people are posting replies and comments continues the conversation and gets more people talking. I cant wait for the interaction tonight at The American Legion in Central City at 7:30 p.m. and as always. I really hope Kevin Campbell can attend. Thank you.
