What a day... I spent this morning helping a girl who failed six theory tests. Autísm and dyslexia was her diagnosis, and after tests I gave her it seemed as if she didnt know what different shapes were! I taught her how to recognise the words first, before teaching her to recognise, trace, draw and make from pens circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. After basic shapes she then was taught to recognise them in everyday objects, before finally linking them to road signs. Apparently school had just ignored her and here she was at 20 just learning shapes. But the parents didnt notice this either till I discovered it today. After all that no wonder I needed a tattoo to cheer me up lol :)
