What a day!!! It never dawned on me that once Zeus was ready to wander outside on his own that he would be too weak to get up and down once he left the carpet. As soon as his feet hit the linoleum they went out from under him and he couldnt get up. Its not easy to lift a 145 pound dog!! Yes, he has gained 15 pounds...yay. So, towel for a sling and was able to get him outside to pee and then ran to Lowes and bought 60 feet of runner. He can now go in and out on his own without getting stranded. New found freedom!!
