What a day!!!! It started out with me dealing with typical Monday morning kid chaos, which led to a runaway mind that was full of accusation of being a horrible mom. But I felt refreshed after a terrific visit with a friend I dont get the chance to see very often. Then I went onto big grocery shopping with a grumpy, sugar laden toddler, loading and then unloading a car full of groceries in the rain. Scarfing down a quick, late lunch before I had to start preparing for my new dryer to arrive. They call giving me a 10 minute warning so I removed the bathroom door, pushed out the old dryer (pinching my finger nail between the door and the dryer), cleaned the mass of stuff that was trapped under the old appliance and make sure their path is free of deadly obstacles. At the same time, my daughter arrives home with lots of fun baby furniture that needs to be put together. Of course, I love doing that, so we assembled a stroller and crib. Now its homework, dinner and clean up, while laundry gets started again. I like being busy, so I guess this days frustrations really comes down to the fact that I have a throbbing, bloody index finger and a little extra cleaning to do.
