What a day! Straight from work to worship..to watching the twins (and NCAA) while my bride finally slept! This day has been so incredible! I think that makes about 200 songs birthed in worship this season alone!! Such a heaviness today; not in the sorrowful, mourning capacity; but a Glory of revelation and creativity that was amplified today. To me, it was indescribable! Rather than waiting for Resurrection service to deal with an empty grave, weve been in a series, exploring the Road to the Final Hour; The Bracketology of Redemption! One misstep; one miscue; one failure, wouldve negated Calvarys effectiveness. Today, we examined the many assassination attempts on Christ; to prevent Him from fulfilling His assignment upon the cross. But, he couldnt just die; not as a murder victim; not as a casualty from stoning; or from being thrown from a cliff. Today, we learned that...SHED BLOOD FROM THE SAVIOR DOESNT MEAN REDEMPTION! SHED BLOOD FROM A LIFTED SAVIOR DOES! I cant die here; not now; not this way! That too must be your resolve; not by suicide, depression, in unforgiveness, or victimization! I cant die; not here...not now...until Ive fulfilled my Divine Assignment! Only then will there be glory given to my account!!
