What a day at the revival in Haiti at Gilbert Christian Church! People started arriving to the church at 7am to prepare for the days festivities. Here are some photos from the Pampa team this morning of the revival and big party today, as well as the 13 baptisms in the river that took place yesterday. Word from Pastor Frantzy this morning was that Pastor Byron from Texas preached 3 very good messages by the Holy Spirit, and this morning at the party there were about 800 people that came and heard the sermon. After the party they are feeding all the people that came as well. What a blessing Pastor Nahums family and the Gilbert Church is to their community! Praising God for the work He is doing through them, Pastor Byron, and the team to bring others closer to Him! We also LOVE this post from Jana today! So beautiful! Baptism in Haiti is one of my favorite things! But yesterday left me speechless as once again I witnessed the Word of God lived out before me. I had the privilege of seeing 13 new believers baptized including a former voodoo priestess. One man who was baptized was crippled from losing his legs in a terrible motorcycle accident. Picture his brother in Christ scooping him up in his arms and carrying him through the river to be baptized. My mind immediately went to the story of the men lowering the crippled man through the roof so he could see Jesus. Are we to do whatever it takes to get our friends to Jesus? Precious!
