What a day, saw a TON of deer, probably over 50 deer and a bunch of bucks.... Some good ones, some small ones, and one big buck.... How big? I have no clue.... Big enough for me to reach straight for my rifle instead of the binos when I saw him..... I hesitated..... He was outside his ears, tall, heavy, but was facing me and I couldnt tell if he was a big fork or a big 4x4.... I had the crosshairs on his chest at about 100yds just waiting for him to turn his head so I could see his profile but instead he spun and bolted before I could get a good look or take a shot...... My patience and restraint bit me in the ass..... Hard..... I should have pulled the trigger..... Tomorrow I will not hesitate......... P.S.
