What a day with NGOs in Empangeni. Today I was training NGOs on how to write fundable business proposals at Empangeni in KZN. I have done the same in four other districts so far. These NGOs do great work of going into communities and advising mothers on the importance of breast feeding, they work with orphans, they work with HIV patients, they work with rape victims, etc. The experiences they share in class are always humbling and touchy. Most of the NGOs do the work with little or no funding but remain hopeful. They are mostly driven by the need to make a difference in their communities. What I enjoy the most is that we always PRAY at the beginning and in the end as well as sing gospel songs in between. We are always in the presence of the Lord. One cannot do such great and challenging work like these NGOs do without some level of divine intervention. Is like a calling of some sort, hence they know the importance of having God in their presence. I feel BLESSED to be praying, teaching and learning all day...well and be paid for it. Thank you father. Let something bigger than you propel you to greater heights. What difference are you making in your communities? Your limited knowledge can amount to a billion dollars for someone else. If you focus on that one thing that you are good at and be of use to others then the world will reciprocate. Best of luck.drjoe
