What a difference 6 weeks can make! This week marks the end of our first 6 week cycle of three movements: Handstand Work on Mondays, Front Squats on Tuesdays, and Deadlifts on Thursdays. I wanted to highlight two of our Greenlake members who have made significant progress during this 6 week cycle! LUKE ROGERS: I really enjoyed the six week Front Squat and Deadlift cycle. It was really fun to track my own progress and see everyone else’s. So many personal records over the last few weeks. I think the Front Squat and the Deadlift cycle helped my other lifts too! In the 6 week cycle, Lukes Front Squat PR went from 275# to 302# and his Deadlift went from 352# to 413#. His Power Clean, Squat Clean, and Clean & Jerk PRs all went up as well! What great progress! JILL BECK: Jill made solid gains every week in both her Front Squat and her Deadlift, documented by videos she took along the way! She went from a Front Squat PR of 90# to 130.2# and a Deadlift PR of 144# to 202#. Amazing! And I know theyre not the only ones that made progress during this 6 week cycle! Please post any gains you may have made in the comments below as well thoughts you have about this new way of programming.
