What a difference a day of specific prayer makes! We were actually able to make some med changes for Drew and we were able to see some really good progress with him today. He got to go outside for some fresh air which he LOVED! We watched the game and he really engaged in it with us and knew all the players. He had some really good therapy sessions today. I feel much more encouraged with the changes we made. We still need a little fine tuning on the meds but were headed in the right direction! So I have another specific prayer request I need prayed about. My husband won the company trip this year and it is a family trip to Universal Studios. We had planned on going and taking the twins. After the accident we werent sure we could do it. Well, after consulting with the higher ups of MFB they highly recommend we go because Drew will be at MFB for @ 2 weeks and then go home for outpatient rehab. They said we would need our rest to take care of him at home. I havent been home since the accident and I am bone weary tired. So with the older kids prodding we will be flying to FL on Sun and coming home Sat. I will need prayers to be able to trust others to care for Drew, to rest w/o guilt for leaving him or feel guilt for burdening the older kids as they visit him daily. This could be an interesting trip I had my 15 yo son pack for me via FaceTime so if you see me in FL and my clothes dont match or I only have one sandal youll know why! We cant go through this without a community and you have been so incredibly supportive having our backs! Thanks so very much for all the prayers and encouragement!
