What a difference a week makes.. last week I headed off to work from 2 months ab fab holiday , half an hour later I was freed up by my employer to seek new opportunities (my position surplus to requirements)… since then I have attended a free session of tai chi, meditation – never had time while working as they were during day, career transition and caught up with some friends over coffee!! This week is knuckle down to do the homework – draft resume, make a 30 sec commercial to sell myself – hmmm (much easier to help others do this, “don’t blow your own trumpet syndrome” really hard to get over the ingrained stuff). So pull up the big girl panties (literally in my case) and get on with it. Do you sense some self talk here? You bet!! Also hoping to have an informal get together at pub across the road from work - used to be called Traders? this Wed about 5.30pm ish with anyone who wants to attend.
