What a difference a year makes…. :) This time last year, it all seemed bit daunting. My beloved Maman was embarking on gruelling chemo with a very bleak prognosis. And in my personal life, I nearly made some questionable choices. But there was so much support from old and new friends, which still makes me feel soppy now :) Maman had further scans and check-ups yesterday and again had it confirmed that she has officially beaten the cancer. Yes of course, something else could come up but she is focusing on the wonderful lucky escape. I am going to see her quite soon and she’ll have a lil operation to remove the implanted chamber where the chemo was injected. Another milestone to show that her recent battle is truly over. Sometimes in life you may not take the most direct route and meander but you do get where you really want to eventually
