What a difference in how publishers react to having their books publicized. Im working on an extensive article for our blog that will be the first of several resource guides on specific topics. Mark Shea suggested I contact the publisher of one of his titles to get an electronic copy. I did. No problem, pdf sent within ten minutes. I contacted another publisher and asked for the same thing. Nope, cant send an e-copy and if I want to quote the book I have to get approval from them first. Really? In this day and age?
