What a dilemma to have. I have printed 10000 Lost Perth books to be available by the 10th of December for Christmas as there is nothing better to buy for somebody you cannot think what to buy as a gift. I showed somebody a sample book yesterday who is deeply interested in Perth like I am and they were so impressed they requested the whole lot with 65 stores across Western Australia. On the way home I popped into a bookstore and the buyer said if it is anything like the last edition we will take 250 cartons (5000 books) I replied , it is better! Shelley and I spoke to the printers this morning and ordered more Lost Perth books which will go to print tomorrow. So we will give half what was requested to the people who asked making them directly available to purchase over the counter and save 2500 for those on Lost Perth , future enquiries and some festivals coming up this month where you can catch up with Shelley and I for a chat and a scribble. I will post regularly with venues, dates and times for book signings in a couple of weeks where you can come and say hello with Mandurah, Rockingham, Fremantle, Bassendean and Booragoon definite so far. I will also post what stores have stocks of new books with their location and would also like to know what stores have the first edition still for sale with folks still looking to buy them.
