What a fabulous weekend!!! Went down to Portsmouth for the weekend. Seven hours there ( horrendous traffic, cops, ambulances, accidents, criminals - you name it, it happened on our trip down south!! ) and six hours back due to deteriorating weather conditions but what an excellent time in between!! Lovely curry Mr Crisp!! Went down to the club when we got there - looking forward to Chloe and her father joining us for the reunion weekend!! you have to tell her there were NO baby lobsters in that fish tank Tony!! Very nice lunchtime meeting Slim and his lovely wife - so sorry it was so rushed guys - then back to get ready for the Trafalgar Night dinner. A wonderful meal, a great gang of people - the youngsters that performed at the dinner are a credit to you Tony - and I won a raffle prize - that never happens to me!! A trip around the world in a minibus on the way home and lovely drinkies until half three with our friends Tiger and Maureen Moth. I got to watch the 39 Steps with Robert Donat at 7 a.m. as I just dont sleep really, then the F1 racing and then a fantastic breakfast!! What an excellent weekend!! Must just add this :- Anne Williams deserves a medal!!! She came down with the dreaded lurgy but struggled on - she helped out with the event all day Saturday, she gave over her beautiful home to the Moths and ourselves for the whole weekend, made sure we had everything we could possibly need and came back on the Sunday morning and cooked us an incredible breakfast!!! Thank you sooo much Anne. Thanks to Tony Crisp for Inviting us and putting on such a fantastic event - and a special mention to Hayley Walters - love you Hayles !!! xx
