What a fantastic day my daughter and I had today, we went to Whitepine and traded some old books for new ones, My kiddo treated me to lunch we enjoyed debating the currant situation with Syria to which normally I keep my political views to myself as it is such a touchy subject , but this time I feel compelled to say my peace to which I am certain regardless of which way my views were I would offend someone somehow but with all do respect , I really do not care. I am not nor could ever be an Obama fan , I am sickened by this currant situation and though I find the killing of hundreds of innocent children deplorable in every human sense, and the use of chemical testing on ones own people, this has been an on going civil war in their country for decades. The people have not requested our assistance and with that in mind we should not interfere and upon doing so we can for certain be assured that our beloved Country will be wiped out economically such as is predicted in 6 weeks time. Who will come to our defense than ? This will render our Nation weak and leave us exposed in so many ways that we may never again bounce back regardless of how loyal we are and how much we love the foundations this Country was built upon. As is you have persons who are allowed to burn the American Flag with no repercussions because it thought to fall in lines with freedom of speech , frankly I have never understood how an action that 50 years ago would have been thought to border the lines of treason can be thought to be freedom of speech !? Anyway I have strayed, Because I am a Proud American , I will stand behind our Soldiers because they will only be following orders , but I truly believe unless requested to help should mind our own business.
