What a freaking ham! I go out to halter DArtagnan because he has an abscess on his foot. Have to soak it in Epsom salts for 20 minutes a day. Comanche takes off like a bat out of hell because he thinks Im coming to get him to go to work or school . DArtagnan knew I was coming to save him so he stood very still while I haltered him. I lead him out of the field slowly because hes limping on that front right foot. I stick his foot in the Epson salt water and start to coo at him,sing to him, pet him and talk to him really sweet. My other two mustangs come up to the fence to watch. About 15 minutes into his soaking I see Comanche limping really bad towards the water trough. Im freaking out thinking Oh my God! Not him too! I lead DArtagan back to the field . I halter Comanche and lead him out. Hes still limping. I pick up his foot , poke around on it and cant find anything wrong with it. I let him smell a pice of apple and threw it about 10 feet in front of us so that he has to walk to get it. That mustang walked right up to it and gobbled it up without limping! What an actor ! That was the damnedest thing Ive ever seen LOL!!!
