What a friend we have in Jesus! Sometimes our earthly friends can be those who are of the household of faith. They can be our relatives or needless to say, they can also be an unbeliever. Pastor Larry Davis who was like a father figure in the ministry as well as a mentor to Pastor Jackie Davis during those fundamental years of growth and development in the ministry, alluded to the fact that he was there to offer counseling during difficult times in the ministry. Its good to have someone to share your hurts and concerns who know about them firsthand. Pastor Davis spoke so eloquently concerning lifes moments of times of uncertainty. He stated that some would be in fellowship for various reasons and only two percent would be there to receive a word from the man of God. He basically dealt with reality of ministry. There will be trying times along the way, but know that God is always there. What a great ending to a week of celebration with our visiting pastors and guest. Pastor Larry Davis scored the winning touchdown for the season. May God bless his family richly. Unity Faith, its not over for us! Its time to rise and shine!
