What a grand Saturday morning! Crisp Fall air and really, that is the turning point today. There have been other days recently with a chill in the morning that hinted at Fall, but today was real serious about being a day in Fall. True Fall air is energizing. Makes you want to get out and do yard activities. Other factors did help. Leaves are starting to turn and bail. The lawn is good for one last mow. And there are even bird indicators. The hummingbirds are migrating through. The goldfinches are becoming the bright yellow like in the bird picturebooks. If I have to be out in the yard doing yardwork these days, a college football game in the ear buds is a welcome sound. Time to break out the plaid flannel shirts.
