What a great (but short) trip! I drove from Hastings after work on Tuesday to Waterloo. Went with my mother and sister to greet my father and nephew as they returned from a day long Honor Flight trip to Washington DC. The Waterloo airport was packed to greet the returning veterans and their sponsors. Lots of people cheering, applauding and waving american flags. Spent some time with my parents on Wednesday morning :) before driving home. The drive in both directions was awesome...top down on the convertible with good tunes and sunshine.
