What a great day. The kids all slept in and we hardly saw them for the rest of the day. Tekoa taught the boys about football, Seth was jamming on the drums with some of the kids, Boston was catching geckos and getting the girls to touch it, and Selah was playing with the toddlers. She said they liked to touch her hair :) We took balloons and puppets into the toddler house today. They thought that was awesome. Amazing how much fun a balloon can be when there are not a thousand other things to distract you.... I am amazed how the children play with very little. This afternoon I sat outside next to a little girl named Esther who was 6. She was playing with a leaf and I casually asked her if we should try to make something out of it. Well, in a minute she had whipped up this cute little Barbie purse out of a single leaf. I was shocked. And so began an afternoon of purse making :) The kids adore Dwayne already. I hear them calling Uncle Dwayne, Uncle Dwayne He has already informed me that he could live here. I spent hours unpacking all of our millions of bags which ALL made it here to my great surprise. Only Dwaynes guitar is sitting in London somewhere.... It is crazy hot and they say this is nothing compared to October. Oh my, I am scared.... My one of many highlights today was when Boston came in to use the washroom and through the bathroom door yelled, I feel good about this year in Africa!
