What a great day for a beach cleanup! Fifteen volunteers picked up 24 bags of garbage off Long Beach. We found plastic water bottles, styrofoam, tennis balls, food wrappers, balloons, plastic bags, tires, nylon rope, aluminum cans, plastic beach toys, Nips bottles, lobster traps, and more. Our youngest volunteer was Carmen, age 8, who has been doing Hometown Cleanup since the age of 4. We also were joined by several Plymouth South high school students, some Beach Ambassadors, a wildlife photographer, an IT guy, a jam-maker and other beach lovers. THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!
