What a great family day. Spent the better part of the morning at Pohick church. It is the oldest church in Northern Virginia. Some well known people worshipped there, the most famous, George Washington. Spent the afternoon downtown Fredericksburg going through the local shops. The ice cream store was to die for....never thought I would say I ate bourbon ice cream. It was very good. And the evening(the main reason to be in Virginia) was the Boggess Association family reunion. Great folk from all around the country sharing stories. Tomorrow we head for D.C. for the week.
