What a great morning of music! The sermon was based on three psalms, and the pastor filling in requested the Dvorak settings, which three solists sang very well at intervals DURING the sermon. The bell choir rang both the prelude and an anthem, doing their best job yet since Ive been there. The choir sang a choral piece by Buxtehude, complete with correct inflection of strong and weak notes, creating joyful sounds like only Buxtehudes music can do if accentuated right. The postlude was Buxtehudes Praeludium in D minor, and most everybody stayed til the end and applauded. A really great morning of music!
