What a great sustainability project by Little Wattle ELC in beautiful Cootamundra (NSW)! The children are active participants in monitoring the garden/living things, water and electricity consumption! Great way to involve the children (co-programming and co-reflecting) as well as an efficient way to increase sustainability awareness! Nevertheless, children show growing appreciation and care for natural and constructed environments, explore relationships with other living and non-living things and observe, notice and respond to change, develop an awareness of the impact of human activity on environments and the interdependence of living things.
