What a great time to be with Brethren at Sanctuary of Strength, Mainway, Waterfalls, Harare, last night.Thank God for a wonderful welcome, what a sweet atmosphere.It was the Gospel only with no strings attached. Its sobering to understand that the council of God deifies mans wisdom and human ability.Looking at Job 2 vs 6-10.Job had a revelation of the nature of the Almighty God.When confronted by his wife, if he still had an integrity, and the wife advises him to curse God and die.It looked lime a good idea.But here was a man who knew and understood the dealings and nature of God. He asks his wife if they were only to receive good only from God and not evil.Jobs says why do you speak like a foolish woman. In other words there are a lot of foolish women and not women alone but also men who when confronted with situations they doubt the council of God. He knew God was still in control of the situation despite his condition.The situation may look very ugly but God was holding the reigns.There certain things that may come to you but if you are child of God who trusts God, you rest you assurance in that Gods council upon you is not evil. Remember this man was an great man, honorable man, rich man but at this time he had been reduced to a nobody.Dont forget God himself had testified that Job was a righteous mam and one who feared God.How many times that we have been confronted by challenging situations and we have found wanting in the faith.A revelation of who God is will produce a stubborn faith in God that can not be obstructed from totally depending on God. You will Know that my situation will never be bigger than the council of God.Job really knew his condition but knew his God and what he was capable of doing.Gods people must never be deceived by the current situation they might be going through. Standing on the word of God i say to someone,what you are going through or what people are saying about you is not in anyway bigger than the council of God about your life. He has ordained a great destiny for you.Stay blessed.
