What a great trip here in Europe for NMB!! Id like to thank Notodden blues festival again for a great experience once again! Jostein Forsberg and Ed Ed Murphy have made it another memorable Fest for the books! Bernhard Schulte really went above and beyond for NMB with his help in organizing the second half of our tour! Bernie is the man! The German fans were awesome and the clubs so hospitable. Special thanks to Uwe Mamminga in Hamburg for treating us like Rock stars!! Brad Stewart, my manager, for his tireless effort in seeing it all through! Intrepid Artists Michael Deeb and Rick Booth for their work in coordinating it all. Taylor Streiff, Nick Fane, Michael Ledbetter and Patrick Seals are warriors! Rough travel, no sleep, heat, rain, summer colds, planes, ferry ships, trains and automobiles...they gave no quarter!! These guys kicked the ass out of every stage they saw!! So proud to call them my friends and band mates!! Just a great overall trip! Every club has asked us back already!! The only downside to this trip was the news of my friend, Richard Duran (Lynwood Slim) passing. I wished that I could have said goodbye. We played a song for Slim every night!! I will be at his tribute on Sep.14th. One more surprise for me, that helped brighten my spirits was getting to see my old friend and tour manager extraordinaire Ronald Oor tonight!! So great to see you buddy!!! Thank you all who made our trip so memorable, and if you were at a show drop us a line and tell us how you liked it!!
