What a great week of music. I know there are always a bunch of awesome bands playing around the North Florida area, but I would like to take a moment to say Thank You to everyone that took time on Wednesday night to come to Cheers Park Avenue to see Sum Dum Blonde and Herd of Turtles. It was an evening that was a long time in the works and the reunion of reunions! Friday and Saturday was the second Metal Meltdown Festival at Cheers as well and the bands and fans turned out to support the scene! The production was over the top with lights and sound by some of the best in town. If you missed it, stay tuned for Metal Meltdown 3 in the future. It will be a one night event with extended hours and some bands that will make you say NO WAY! Im proud to be part everyone that comes out to support local music the way we do here!
