What a great weekend of racing it was for Knowsley Harriers. We have never had so many members out racing :) The full and half marathons saw 62 of our runners paint the town red and white and records were broken :) In the marathon: It is big congratulation to Rob Kelly who led the charge with an overall 5th and new club record for the marathon. It is congratulations to Kev Brown who went for it and broke the club V40 record. It is congratulations to April Morgan with an overall second lady smashing the club v45 record in the process. :) In the half marathon: Big congratulations to Sharon Samson who smashed the senior record in claiming a podium finish. It is congratulations to Justine Moore who is the clubs new FV40 record holder taking 7 minutes off the old time. Completing the set it is congratulations to Sue OBrien who lowered her own FV55 record on Sunday :) It is a big well done to all our record breakers but is also a big well done to all the clubs runners who hit the tarmac at the weekend. You trained hard, you raced hard and had a great day.
