What a joyous occasion - Brian was able to start back at work. How kind of them to mention Brian in the Steelcase Newsletter. They wrote: Welcome Back, Brian Leroux! A warm welcome back to Brian Leroux, who returns to work after an extended medical leave battling cancer and undergoing a bone marrow transplant. Brian always had a positive outlook and talked about returning to work right from the start. In April, his co-workers, family members and friends organized a fundraiser to help him raise money for his transplant. It was standing room only as the crowd enjoyed a spaghetti dinner, raffles, silent auction, live music by Tomas Esparza Blues Experience, Third Time Lucky and Blue Water and other fund-raising activities. Brian returns to a job in the Materials group. We all missed you Brian!” Linda said He said he was sitting at his desk looking at his computer monitors, and it was like the past year and three months never happened.” Linda says Thank you for your support and now Cancer wont dictate our conversation and we have our lives back, and by the grace of God, family and friends.
