What a news streak. For the last ten days it has been non-stop. It felt like the old days for this news dinosaur. It began with a truck into a house in Beverly and ended for now with fire fighters rescuing people from stalled cars heavy rain caused ponds in Peabody. In between there was a double fatal on the Jamaicaway in Boston, two separate fatal shootings in Chelsea, two children killed in a fire in Lawrence, a plane at Beverly Airport with a landing gear collapse and yesterday a rain Northeaster with great video and rescues. The toll is sadly six dead, a porch destroyed, damaged plane and lots of water damage. The good news is news like this is streaky and with everything awful going on in the World this is like a fly on the elephants ass. I got a chance to look for that fly last week and also captured a picture of Vernon my new screensaver.
