What a night! Although we went 0-2, I am very proud off our warriors. Tomatillo Park faced a very game opponent, nut shots, and injuries. Despite all of these, he battled until the end and never gave up. Piankhi Zimmerman faced the toughest test of his fighting career, facing a last minute opponent switch and moving up a weight class. His opponent is a world class grappler with years more experience, but Piankhi showed true grit. His opponent could not pass his guard until the third round and never managed to mount any offense outside of positional dominance. Off his back, Piankhi managed to cut him with a vicious elbow. On the feet, Piankhi hit him at will and often with flair. While a win would of been nice, this was a great end to his amateur career. I want to thank everybody who helped our warriors train and prepare. Look out, we are just getting warmed up!
