What a night! Decided at the last minute to drop in at Southside Baptist Church with Adams parents. GPS said wed get there at 5:50. Well, we realized too late that we were headed to two different churches. Jack and Cheri wound up at Southside Baptist Tabernacle. We wound up at Southside Baptist. Two minutes away from the church, we took the wrong exit and got stuck on a toll road for 10 min (which will be kind enough to send us a bill in the mail.) When we exited the toll road, the suburban stalled. Then it stalled a few more times. We were out of gas!!! We barely limped into the church parking lot 2 minutes late. We enjoyed a great service. After church we decided to try and get to the gas station 1 min away. The kids all prayed and we coasted into the gas station. Well, weve been having issues with our bank card for some reason and it wouldnt accept our card! (It should have but it didnt.) We were finally able to put about $20 in it using a different card and made it home. Meanwhile, Jack and Cheri really enjoyed the church they found themselves at in inner city Tampa, where they were the only Caucasians. A very nice gentleman offered his services as body guard to them as they went to their car after church. Like I said, what a night!!! #deputation
