What a night last night Great Concert. J. Geils Band opened the show. Sounded awesome. Tremendous Harmonnica Player. Outstanding drummer. Tight, high energy. Enjoyed their set a lot. Bob Seger came out and we stood for the entire show. Tremendous band, great song and great song. Bob played 4 or 5 off the new album and I anticipated them as much as the Fire Down Below or Her Strut. Detroit Made, Hey Gypsy and the Devils Right Hand sounded perfect mixed in with the classics. I always get goose bumps when Bob does Turn the Page. This is the 4th time I have seen Bob since 2006. 2006 was great, but it was a sparse production in comparison to last night. How he keeps sounding better and better amazes me. Bob looked like what he is, a legend, happy and grateful to be where he is at in life. As 16,000 people sang along with him on almost every song, you can see his gratitude and humbleness show through. Besides Bobs great originals, he has always had some great covers of artists he has respected. One gem last night was a cover of a Willie Mitchell Song - Come to Poppa. It has always been a personal Seger fav of mine. https://youtube/watch?v=y5BZzDQbcqI
