What a night on the Porch… Last night people came from diverse church communities came with great expectation! They did not leave disappointed! It is hard to capture in words what the night was like. The presence of God was like being wrapped in His arms. All of our lives were changed by His affection. The prophetic words were life changing and the power of God rested upon people who wanted to stand for prayer. Others wanted to remain seated because they felt more comfortable. There were two amazing testimonies last night. A wonderful man I have known for all of 25 years had visited our meetings a couple of times and during his last visit God spoke a word to him that changed his entire life. He briefly shared how for the last 12 years he was stubborn because he had put away the gifts of the Holy Spirit that God had given him. The Lord spoke to me to give him the opportunity to share everything in his heart and to release him in the Spirit to walk out his destiny. Today at the Porch he will be the main speaker! A woman stood up last night and testified she has documented proof she has been healed of Addison’s disease. Four months ago she came with her husband and when she came to et prayer for her disease she received a word that she needed to forgive. She forgave and God healed her. She went home and she told her husband I have been healed. She said I want to stop taking my medication. Her husband said pray and do what you believe the Holy Spirit says to you. With Addison’s if you do not take the medication – there is no known cure for Addison’s – you will go into a coma after three days and then shortly thereafter you die. Let me make it clear we want people to respond to the Holy Spirit but we do not teach people to stop taking medication we encourage them to see their doctor and make them aware of what they are going to do. Well she goes to the doctor and tells him she has been healed and wanted blood work done ( she now has had 2 visits). The blood work came back totally normal. When you have Addison’s your blood work tells you that you have the disease. Now the blood work says she is healed. The doctor said he can’t explain it but she has no evidence of the disease. She took off her medical alert bracelet and left it on the pulpit. Her healing was and is a MIRACLE. What a night on the Porch…
