What a performance that was last night. After seeing the heart - TopicsExpress

What a performance that was last night. After seeing the heart of my club and us supporters ripped out by heartless, gutless mercenaries such as Roger Johnson and Jamie OHara over the last few seasons (culminating in us dropping from the big time to League One in two seasons), it makes our revolution under Kenny Jackett even more remarkable and enjoyable. To see us playing in such an expansive, quick and exciting style with youngsters like Doherty, Evans, Price, Van La Parra, McDonald and Dicko (who will hopefully prove to be the backbone of our side for years to come) is such a breath of fresh air after the dark heartbreaking reigns of Messrs Solbakken and Saunders. But what pleases me the most is the fact that- with being captained by Brierley Hill born Danny Batth, Wolverhampton born Richard Stearman alongside him at the back, and young Cannock-born Liam McAlinden now pushing for a place too, we, as supporters, have a connection back with the team and club again. And its so nice to have players in the squad who know what the club means to us. Now Im not saying that well push for promotion, Im not even saying we will push for the play-offs, all I am saying is that I feel so proud to call myself a Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter again. For that I thank you Kenny Jackett. Onwards and upwards!
