What a service!!!!!! Dear All We are writing to you because we have you listed as being a citizen of Vietnam. It was not really until news stories broke late Friday that we became aware of the full extent of the damage wrought by Haiyan, and it was only in the very early hours of this morning / late yesterday, that we heard that it had made landfall in Vietnam. Our thoughts are with you all at this time as we understand it can be a very worrying time if you have friends and family in the affected area. If you need support, please come and talk to one of the International Student Advisers / AusAID Liaison Officer in ISSU – we’re in the Basement of the Union Building and you can contact our office on 8201 2717 or email us on [email protected] The University also runs a free-of-charge counselling service and they have a phone-link service as well as daily drop-in appointments. You can contact the Counselling service by calling 8201 2118. Their phone lines open at 8:45am, so to try and get an appointment on the same day, please call between 8:45 and 9am.
