What a special 46th anniversary for my special hubby and me. Yesterday had family in and out, phone calls and FB wishes. Watched Jr. High boys and girls from West Lincoln playing Loyd Star yesterday. I enjoyed watching Garrett play for the first time. Got home from the games and found Howard had changed the furniture around, dusted, swept and mopped in the living room getting it ready for the Christmas Tree and decorations. What a help that was. Then.........Today we attended worship; came home to some of the family waiting for us to eat lunch together. After visiting a while after lunch, several left telling me they were going home to take some naps. I wished them sweet dreams. We then got a call from Courtney (our granddaughter) telling us they had found a water leak and needed Papo to come and check it out for them. She asked him to bring me too since she had some dessert to share with us. We loaded up along with Benjamin and Will and drove out to Ryan and Courtneys home. When we arrived I saw all the familys vehicles that had been at our house for lunch. A loud SURPRISE greeted me at the door. Papo had suggested and organized a surprise party for our anniversary with our children. I truly was surprised. I was presented some beautiful cards, a beautiful birthday cake with white icing, red roses, ice cream. We also received a Scattergories Game which is one of our favorites! I have enjoyed a wonderful anniversary with my very special husband and all of our children and grands that could come and celebrate with us. Thanks everyone.
