What a sweet face! SICK KITTENS UPDATE It is with great sadness that I have to say 3 out of the 4 kittens we got back from the former foster home, had to be euthanized. To be clear as we have been posting about both, this is not the situation with the cats dumped outside. This is the quarantine situation with the sick kittens. Blossom, the little girl, was diagnosed with FIP. Sapphire and Junior were both diagnosed with FELV and had a combination of 3 different viral infections as well. As much as we wanted to give them a chance, they just had too many issues and their immune systems just couldnt fight all the illnesses. We have one kitten remaining. His name is Sydney. All of his siblings are gone and he is all alone in a cage in our quarantine garage. Sydney tested negative for FELV but is still on antibiotics for the other issues. We desperately need to find him a temporary foster home where he can be quarantined away from other cats as we are working on bringing the dumped cats to the quarantine cages and we cant until Sydney is out. If you can foster him, please email or pm me right away. He will have to be retested for FELV in a month but we want him to live a life as normal as possible while we wait for the next test date.
