What a total legend!!! I thought the natural caesarean was pretty amazing, but this steps it up a whole other level! And shows what amazing things could come out of a collaboration between traditional hospital birthing, and all the new and old information we have about bonding, homebirthing, and oxytocins. Caesareans happen. Theyre not the best case scenario perhaps, though it was in my experience, because there was no other way for us both to survive, and it taught me SO much, but they exist, and most likely will continue to for a long time. So couldnt we use all the available knowledge to make the surgery as good as it could possibly be for every diverse person? Couldnt there be a whole heap of different and amazing ways to honour the magic of birth, with collaboration instead of warfare?
