What a tremendous outpouring of love and support. My family and I are truly touched and grateful for all the love and prayers that have been extended to mom, ourselves and her caregivers. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. To answer many questions, in the near future (undecided date) we will have a small memorial service for Flossie Walker at Prestige Assisted Living, then one year from now, on the first anniversary of her passing, her children will honor her wishes and spread her ashes in Hot Springs Village, AR. For right now, in lew of flowers, the family would request a donation be made to the Alzheimers Association. Mom had so unselfishly wanted her brain to be donated to science so our children and yours would not suffer her same fate. Please mention expressions of our lives in your donation at alz.org/dsw .
