What a truly emotional day at work today!!! It was filled with anticipation, excitement, awe, and tears of joy. Many of my co-workers gathered around the nurses station and Human Resources office in anticipation and excitement for our beloved friend and co-worker as she was being told of the on-line donation for her and her family. In one month, over $3,000.00 was raised by co-workers and many others of the community through word of mouth. Gladys is a very giving and dedicated employee that helps ensure the quality of our residents lives for the last 7 years at The Clairemont Nursing and Rehab. She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to help our residents and staff! She has been struggling to get her family reunited and her dream is finally coming true; but it has came with a tremendous financial burden. Today is Giving Tuesday, a day that takes time to celebrate and encourage the kindness and generosity of others. It is not too late if you are interested in participating in this special day. It is truly uplifting and I am very thankful for those who have supported this cause! I am so PROUD to work with so many caring co-workers!! So happy for you, Gladys!! :)
