I loved the venue, and when my then fiance and I went to go look, we were shown the fourth hall I had yet to see - Tejas. It was stunning! Rustic, hand crafted, huge (we had a large wedding and needed the space) it fit perfectly with my rustic fairy tail theme! My now husband is a carpenter and he appreciated the quality of workmanship evident in all aspects of the building. The bridal and grooms room upstairs with private bathrooms and a shower were very useful, not just for us to take a break, but for those who had small children at the wedding to have somewhere to lay them down, clean them up, have a private moment with their babies, it was just lovely. The landscaping in the area, even in the dead of winter, was beautiful. Flowers, grass, a big open field with horses! The bridge with water below, the well, it was all just perfect and well maintained. Now lets talk about Martha. She is an amazing person and a gift to the bridal world, she made our experience easy from start to finish. On the day before the wedding we were given four hours to decorate, and when things did not go as planned and we ended up having to stay later, she only came to check on us and assure me that it was okay; she is a special lady and I still owe her a big hug. The price for what you get (day before decorating, the venue for so many hours, and the freedom to choose your own vendors) is amazing and better than anything else I could find in and around the Austin area. They have a hall for every kind of bride (they feature a hall that has a waterfall, seriously.), and I strongly suggest every couple at least tour the area and consider it for their own special day.
