What a week! A few medical appointments, a meeting with Joshuas - TopicsExpress

What a week! A few medical appointments, a meeting with Joshuas oncologist and fitting in fun family times! We headed back to the Childrens Hospital to meet with the oncologist to discuss the scan and another neurological exam on Joshua. The scan showed that the tumor only had a few changes and result being that it was stable. Since the scan we have see some changes and some of the changes we were told would come. With these results, the tumor is progressing. As for how much longer we have together, we dont really know. We were originally told that his passing would be within a few weeks by the has gone way beyond this! We were told that it will be weeks/months, not months/years but dont really know how long. So we continue to make the most of our time together and provide memories for us all to cherish. We treat his symptoms when they arise and pray that his pain doesnt become too much for him to bear. We will continue to meet with our medical teams regularly (thankfully they come to visit us!) and review Joshuas symptoms and discuss and change if necessary his medications. As a family, we thank you for your ongoing support and prayers. We ask that for those who pray, that you continue to pray for Joshua and that he has very minimal (none would be better!) pain.
