What a week! Ive had many hard weeks to endure in my fifty some years, and this past week has got to be the longest and the most challenging yet. Change... Not always the easiest thing to accept. After some extremely difficult events that were totally out of my control I made some decisions that will change the course of my future hopefully for the better. On Tues I had a job interview and looked into a new career movement that would take me away from the crazy retail side of life. A change that Ive been playing with in my mind for sometime. Undecided and confused on whether I truly ready to make such a big move, I went back to my job on Wed. Monday was difficult with major problems everywhere, but Wed was off the charts. If I thought it couldnt get any worse Thursday proved me wrong. If I didnt know better the Universe was giving me every reason to accept the new job. So I gave notice and finished the week out and after thirty plus years and half of those in corporate retail I am changing careers. I cannot tell you the relief I felt when I went out the door for the last time. Thats got to be a good sign, right?
