What a week or should I say last 2 months. After being hospitalized with atrial fib, two echocardiograms, holliter monitor and having surgery on my thumb I broke out with hives this week. Of course because of several new medications it isnt apparent what is causing the hives. I was put on prednisone for the hives and was told to stop one of the supplements I was taking. If the hives come back after the prednisone the doc will have to decide which drug to change. Right now just a guessing game. Thank goodness though the pred is working. Itching has stopped. Two months ago I was healthy as a horse now I have a heart condition and two new meds to take the rest of my life. It is the pits getting old. I think we all should be like Benjamin Buttons and do this all in reverse. LOL
